I need to replace the cooling fan motor and need some quick detailed instructions if possible how to do this myself with not alot of real hands on experience working on these things. Id greatly appreciate this and hope it solves my overheating problems.

I have a 96 and i dont know how much different it is from a 99, but on mine you have to get you hand between the radiator shroud and the fan, and there are 4 bolts that need to be undone. After that pull the shroud and the fan out at the same time ( without hitting the radiator to bad), from there you can replace the fan clutch.

Is it the 4.0L with an electric fan or the V8 with the clutch?
You said "I need to replace the cooling fan motor" which sounds like the electric fan. If so, what BenBB said is pretty close - detach the shroud and pull it up and out.
Check this fan recall out, maybe you can get them to fix your '99.

the electric fan and the shroud are all one peice when they come out. you need to get the mechanical fan out loosen up the shroud and pull the whole assy. out the only hard part is getting the mechanical fan out of the way. i have both the mechanical and electric and i think most do especially if they are a southern build

You can also loosen the radiator and grill and move them forward - then you can remove it without detaching the mechanical fan.
