I have a boat that weighs in a 2200 lbs. and am wondering what the max towing capacity is for my jeep.

Depends on your engine size (and a few other factors). If you had searched, you would have found:

I think Larados came with the 4.0. If you have an automatic and a tow package, its rated to tow up to 5000lbs with load leveling. If you dont have a tow package, its rated to 3500. If its a manual I think its only rated to tow 2000lbs.

The thing to do is call U'HAUL & ask them,& they will tell you what you have to have. I agree with others,my cherokee just barely stops its self! Remember,you can pull anything,but to steer & stop is EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!
