Anyone know the torque specs for the Firebird 67 cylinder head bolts?? Had a blown head gasket which we are replacing but I can't find these specs anywhere :banghead:

(It's a Firebird 230, line 6, overhead cam, 165 hp)

Im pretty sure they are 80-95 ft.lbs.

You can get a book for the car for about 15 bucks at any local auto parts source.

I tried to find it for you but i could be wrong. Good luck. Welcome to the forum.

Thanks for you're time, it sounds about right, 80-95. I've orded a service manual for the car two weeks ago, but the f***in mail... Maybe cause I'm located in the northern parts of Norway. That also explains my bad english :) Anyway, I've imported this car from California for my wife, and she's pretty determined that we'll put it together to day... lol
