Idle problem

have a 93 Tempo with 2.3L engine and 5 speed trans. Runs good but often dies at an idle. Doesn't matter if it's warm or cold. Any ideas?

Sounds like a non working "Idle Speed Control Valve Motor".
Find someone with a ford odb-1 scan tool and run a koer test.

try tightning the idle screw then go from there. the screw is located on the throttlebody.
