Bumped and won't startDavescort97 07-05-2006, 08:57 PM I've got a 97 2.0 SPI sedan. I got hit in the Wal-Mart parking lot. It didn't do any damage but now it won't start. Anybody got any ideas? I'm home but it is sittin' down there. Hope to get it back tonight. matt500 07-05-2006, 09:52 PM check the owners manuel for fuel pump cut off switch and press the button and see if it will start jd-autotech 07-05-2006, 09:59 PM your fuel cut of switch is behind the carpet in the truck or behind rear seat on hatch back usually drivers side its a black box with a button sticking out the top push it in and buckle up mightymoose_22 07-05-2006, 11:35 PM Ditto... the fuel cutoff switch is usually in the trunk... open it up and look for a plastic piece that pulls away from the wall of the trunk. The switch is designed to trip on impact. Davescort97 07-06-2006, 01:00 AM I found it! It's in the trunk on the right hand side towards the front. I can't believe it. Something as easy as that. Got her home tonight. Thanks much. Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
