Mr. Surfacer, used to fill seam lines??

Is Mr. Surfacer thick enough to fill seam lines between joined parts??
i got Mr. Surfacer 1000 bottle.

or should i stick with some Tamiya putty?

Your seam lines are indented? Mine are always extruded... :confused:

It depends on the size or depth of the groove. Mr. Surfacer 1000 is adequate to fill scratches, but not for a big seam, so Mr. Surfacer 500 is more suitable. Of course, you can use super glue to fill the seam, that Mr. S 500 can, and if it doesn't, use Tamiya putty, thinned with Mr. Thinner or compatible thinner, because you can control the thickness of putty. If that doesn't seem thick enough, use Tamiya (or Squadron) putty in conventional way.
