I'm selling my crx. It doesn't look the best but somebody who wants to tackle the body will love it. I tried and it didn't work out. However, the sunroof delete does not leak. I have all the sunroof motor parts to go back if somebody wanted to cut the filler back out. Chassis has about 225k miles and engine about 120k maybe. Car has the following...
d16a6 sohc 1.6L
dc sports ceramic coated header
tsudo cai
full custom exhaust with high flow cat, resonator and RS Racing (Arospeed) fart can
8.5mm Jacobs wires
newly replaced distributor
new belts
new waterpump
new oxygen sensor
Arospeed coilover springs
AEM adjustable cam gear
Unorthodox Racing pulleys
Exedy Street/Strip clutch
ACT 11.9lb. flywheel
some painted interior parts
JVC cd player
Alpine 2-ways up front and Pioneer 2-ways in the back

$1200

Looking to sell in the western NC, SC or northern GA area.

I'll miss the little turtle...

Do you have some pics for the showing. I wanna see how bad the body actually is. Also does it have like any rust?

I don't have a digital camera but I'll see what I can do about pics of the body. Basically, the primer is chipping away on the roof, and where I've bondoed. Sanding over more and paint is needed. I cut out a lot of rust from the driver side of the car. The car is a good beater and would make a great ongoing project. The only issue with its driveability is the main relay sometimes can be a bitch so I started parking the car in the shade since I don't drive it very much anymore. But it runs and you could drive it anywhere...

Edit: I just noticed you're in Longwood, Fl. I seriously doubt you'd come all the way to SC for my crx and I'm not shipping it...

I have relatives in NC, that I havn't seen in a while, so I could go up and see them and pick up the car on the way back. But if the body is in good enough condition, then i really wouldn't mind the drive; esp. cuz there are like no CRX's in Florida that people want to sell. Would the car last a drive from where you live to Central Florida?

I think the car would make it but I wouldn't try it. I drove it to NJ and back in January and it was okay but it really didn't like the cold and snow. That's about the same time the paint started to peel off. Anyway, regardless if the car would make it or not you wouldn't have a tag or registration...

Damn, too tru. Well I hope you are able to sell it man... but still when you get some pics post em, cuz I still wanna see what it looks like. =]

I know this doesn't help you at all or anything, but I'm just gunna say what would be ideal for me to buy. A 1988-91 CRX HF or SI. I really care about how good the body condition is, because that I definitally can't fix (easily) The interior I could care less about, because I would completely redo that. The engine and transmission and all that I would probably replace anyway. But if I can pick up a stock 88-91 CRX that has a good body, and it doesn't live far from me, and its a reasonable price, I'd buy it.

I see where you're coming from. If I had the resources I would do the same but I've had my crx for over 4 years now and I think it's time to move on as far as performance. Finding a STOCK crx si with a nice interior and straight body to do a swap in is hard to find these days. GL.

I'll try to post pics sometime...

Well, what I really want is a stock HF model. I'm planning on redoing the entire interior, so the interior doesn't matter that much to me, and the HF model is lighter (i think that is right, right?) Then I'd do a swap in the HF.

HF is the lightest...

My CRX probably weighs as much as an HF because of the old school 86 si rims that only way like 9-10lbs., the sunroof deleted, the a/c deleted, and probably because of cutting a lot of rust away... haha.

Just to add... driver side si seat has tears in left bolsters as usual (I covered them with 3M tape)... passenger seat is in pretty good shape with no tears. The interior has smurf blue accents in the dash and rear speaker covers. The lock box and rear deck lid are still there but look kind of rough up close...
