View Full Version : fan problem fan problem DJPsystems 07-04-2006, 09:51 PM Toysrme 07-06-2006, 12:33 AM It turns on & off by the cooling fan ECU, powered by the 15amp ECU-IG fuse. The cooling fan ECU has it's own coolant temp sensor. Check that. If you download the 93 FSM. That sensor is on the wiring diagrahm.pdf page 27. Marked E4 (the temp sensor by the thermostat) I would also look at the wiring / harness. DJPsystems 07-06-2006, 06:25 PM The fuse is still good. I am thinking that the cooling fan ecu is fried. Where is it located? I am having problems with my computer right now and it will not download it right now. DJPsystems 07-11-2006, 08:33 PM Ok, I downloaded the repair manual. The fuse is good, so I think that the module is bad because it does nothing when I put a jumper between OP1 and E1. When I checked the sensor, I got about 3.45K ohms with a warmed up engine. DJPsystems 07-25-2006, 09:00 PM Problem solved. I changed the coolant temp sensor. I scored a cooling fan ecu on ebay, now the fan comes on like it should. ArodsCustoms1 06-14-2008, 05:56 PM Hi can you tell me were to go to download the pdf file for the wiring diagram, for the fan, it is asking for a password? thanks Related Links Participate in thousands of discussions at AutomotiveForums.com!
