when i try to play cds it just shuffles through them all and says that there is no disc in the changer. what should i do?

same problem. Anyone got a solution?

Sounds like either a dirty lens, misalignment, or a weak spindle motor. Unfortunately none of this can really be checked without removing and opening the changer.

I've got a '96 too. Hitting the "CD" button on the stereo results in the display saying "NO CD". I try to eject the CD's and the CD holder will not come out. I don't know what to do. I have the 6 disc changer that is located in the center consule

I have the same problem, one day i tried to eject the 6cd changer and it wont push it out, it just spins the little motor but it wont come out,a nd when i try to play a cd it says NO CD...any way to get it out?
