I like to draw a lot when I get bored. Over the years, I have gotten really good at it, so I decided to scan them all and share them over the internet. So check out these drawings. The ones in the album entitled "Sketchbook" are the oldest, and they date back to the fall of 2000. The next in chrono. order is of course, "Car Drawings 2001" and the "Car Drawings 2002". The ones in the 2002 album are the best ones, IMO cause I really started getting good at it this past Thanksgiving...
And then there's the Hi-res pictures, which of course are photographs.

Some of those are really good, do you look at anything when you draw them, or do you come up with it from memory, most of them look dead on accurate

Very impressed!! I know some of the pictures so you must have looked at them, but so what, you must be very good to get the shadows that good and lifelike!

i draw a bit myself but i dont draw like that! urs is very detailed and lifelike. i usually draw cartoon cars so its not like yours. maybe ill post em up some day :)

Yah, unfortunately, I can't draw ANYTHING halfway decently without looking at a picture. I need a picture (preferably a large one) to look at. You can imagine I go thru printer cartridges like nobody else...:p

ci5ic: I don't know why you're having trouble...it works fine for me and everyone else I know...I'll go check it out later on and see if there's anything wrong. Which ones don't work? what album?

Several of the thumbs in each album seemed to be affected, especially in the "cars 2001" album... And it's not due to a slow connection, I'm on a T1 line virtually all to myself...

i agree, theres a few pics that do that for me too.

Your work is very good especially the newer ones. I like the action scene of the WRX, that was my favorite (for obvious reasons lol).. Its incredibly accurate. The shading is excellent but you might want to try blending a little bit more for better realism which is not to say it doesn't look real it already looks like its going to come flying off the page. All I can say is keep up the good work

Webshots also just refreshened their site, so there may be a couple of bugs. If there are any that you absolutely have to see, just ask me, and I'll see if I can't attach one to the thread.:bandit:

btw--anyone know why everytime I try to attach a pic to a post it takes five minutes for the server to d-l the message, and then I get a DNS Error?

Maybe it's my lousy ass connection...

That happened to me all the time, and I'm on a T-1 line. So now, I just go to www.automotiveforums.com/upload and upload the image, then copy the URL it gives you and put that in the message with the [img] tags... never causes a problem.
