Problems with new charger r/t

Well this is just great...only two weeks and not even 500 miles on my new dodge charger r/t and already i almost blew my engine. I was cruising along and the oil light came on. Immediately after that my car automatically shut off. Luckily I was at a red light and was able to push it off into the turn lane. This is very upsetting knowing that a car that new already has an oil leak and now maybe problems with the engine. Anyone else having problems like this?

No car is perfect. Any car, no matter the age, can have issues. Problems that occur with new cars are the hidden ones that occur in the manufacturing process. That is why manufacturers give warrantees on new cars. Sounds like your new car has fail safe devices that worked as designed. Consider yourself a winner in the new car lottery.

Many people say that buying a used car is inheriting someone else's problems. I say that buying a new car is claiming an all new set of unclaimed problems. That's why I chose to live with and correct the problems I already have.
