thinking about buying an audi A4 1.8t

ok i did some research but i found nothing, let me introduce myself now.
My name is gibrann and i'm really into imports, i currently own a 95 eclipse gst with about 250 HP.
ok now im trying to find out how much boost i can run on stock turbo and how hp the stock internals can handle, i don't plan on modding it a lot, maybe an intake , boost controler, and electric cut-out,
on something else, i noticed that you guys talk about chips and i read that it rises the boost, dont you use boost controlers? i know my car is different , that's why i'm asking, i know i need to learn a lot, can anyone point to a web site with upgrade paths for the A4 1.8t? thanks
