Hallo, I'm a golf owner and need some help from a passat owner.What is the messure of the bottom part of the geargater , that ring where the leather finnishes of to the body .(Between the two seats infront of the handbrake).My gater boot have a hole in it and I have the oppertunity to buy a secondhand boot+knob from a passat '97-2000 .

I belive the passat boot is larger than golf boot and will not fit withough modification
