World Languages00accord44 06-24-2006, 03:36 PM So I'm currently in the process of learning Spanish. I took French during elementary and middle school and retained a good amount of it. English of course is my first language. Just wondering how many people know multiple languages or are learning second languages since here in the United States not much emphasis is placed on learning a second language. Mostly because we spend so much time cramming English down everybody's throats. Whereas most people I know from other countries know three or four languages. freakray 06-24-2006, 03:40 PM Know three.....woop-deee.... sameintheend01 06-24-2006, 03:44 PM i'm american and i know 4. that's pretty weird, huh? twospirits 06-24-2006, 04:33 PM I know English (first language) Spanish (Second language) German (very little, forgot most of it from my old army days) i would like to learn, Italian, Korean, and Austrailian (cause god knows they speak something weird.) :evillol: TS out -The Stig- 06-24-2006, 04:45 PM i would like to learn Austrailian (cause god knows they speak something weird.) :evillol: TS out throw anutta shrimp on da barbiee... knorwj 06-24-2006, 05:17 PM I took 2 years of french and retained almost nothing.
