This was last week. Finally someone with an RSX-S was at the local hangout. I asked him if he'd like to run for fun. He said sure. I asked him for a 40mph roll because my syncros in 2nd gear are shot and I can hardly get it to stay in gear.

His Mods: Intake, Exhaust, Header (2002 RSX-S)
My Mods: TPR Intake, Power FC

I finally managed to get it in 2nd gear and we went from a 40mph roll. By about 100mph I had 2-3 carlengths on him. Seemed like his shifted was very good. When we got back he wouldn't get out of his car to talk or anything. He picked up his girlfriend and left immediately. Looked like he was upset. Poor guy.

FYI: I was driving my '01 Celica GT-S for those that didn't pick up on that.

hehe the Alltrac would have wasted him. It feels pretty quick now at 12psi since I got the front mount intercooler on. It pulls past 100mph A LOT harder than the GT-S. Gotta love f/i

Stock for stock, I think it would be an awesome race, both are capable of high 14s bone stock if you know how to drive it. I'm actually suprised that with just the intake and the FC you were able to walk him like that, I thought it would have been much closer than 2-3 lengths. Elsewise, awesome kill.

well the rsx has only a intake and exhuast, the rsx needs cams and a reflash to really wake up. so mod for mod, that gts was expected to win, since vip09 kept on saying it would run high 13's to 14 flat if his power fc was tuned right

if i remember he was low 14's when he was at the track.... and that was before he got it properly tuned... i would expect very high 13's...

but that's just me.

If they were stock that would pair up for a really close race. It always tends to be who can figure out how to launch on the Vtec engines that tends to win. Props on your win

Musashi: I'm located in Mobile, AL. I would guess the alltrac is into the 13's now. It pulls pretty good at 12psi on the 20G. When I get to higher speeds it pulls A LOT harder than the GT-S.

97SLGT: Not sure, it all depends on how well your tune is. I would have to go on a dyno and fine tune it to get the most potential.

209 SRT: Before I raced him I asked him what year his was, 2002. When he said that I new I would beat him because he didn't have hondata or anything. I just didn't know how close it would be. I would have loved to race him from a dig.. I think the outcome would have been even more in my favor. I can pull consistent 2.1 60' times at the track on street tires and I can launch it very well on the street also.

TatII: For now, I'm just taking it easy. I have a couple more things I need to do to the alltrac to make it a little more stable for daily driving before I take the GT-S down for tranny repair.

Bolt on's do wonders for the k20's, cams and reflash help out alot too but I think this was a drivers race

and it seems vip has a stronger motor and better driving skills than the average gts/driver

I might be taking the All-trac to the 1/4 mile track Friday. I'll post up some slips if everything goes as planned. Shooting for 14.0. This is at 12psi on stock fuel system.
