i have a 95 hatchback. when i try to turn on the a/c it doesnt seem to work right. the a/c light will not come on when the button is pushed in while on a/c setting. could this be this linkages that control a/c and all of the other controls? also its not as cold as it should be on a/c, could it be that the a'c needs to be recharged?
thanks

If the ac is running and the light is not on... it is probably just a burned out bulb.
If it isn't cool enough... considering the age of the car, and if it hadn't been done recently, having it serviced, checked for leaks and recharged will help a lot.

wut hee sed

My a/c is low on refrigerant(3rd gen) and keeps shutting itself off. I just stuck a manual override on it till I get it recharged.
