Hello I would like to announce the promo video for Racer Free Car Simulator, free drivingsim-game made by dutchman Ruud van Gaal. This video is made by Tobias Greuter a.k.a. Tops. This video features some of the best cars made for Racer, and in my humble oppinion, some of the best made for any racing sim-game.

There are also other projects going on for Racer right now. First of all the physics model will soon recieve a heavy update with working suspension models and camber to add to the toe and ackerman steering already implemented. Racer also uses real-life pacejka tire curve models.

I'm also working with the Racer Le Mans Series which features real-life and fictional but strictly feasable cars and tracks from the Le Mans series. And for those who knows them there is also a Danish Touringcar Mod and an Initial-D mod underway.

Have it, not really the best game. It has potential, but right now the game really suuuuks.... sorry, but thats my opinion, Im gonna check for an update, and it usually depends on the car, and thats what determines how well the game will react. Im gonna check to see whats new...

RACER is not really a game... is seems to be just like a hobby that has potential for Ruud van Gaal. Its a homemade project, which in all respect is VERY good, but there are no true objectives. It is not a racing game, as there are no opponents on the field, it just like a testdrive of the car on tracks you have downloaded. As JMS has already pointed out, this game has a lot of potential, but it does suck. I'm waiting for an official version, not the .5 beta 10. There are some bugs, but overall RACER is something to screw around with if you have some free time.
