I recently got a 88 Chevy 1500 with 127000 miles, automatic. The only issue it seems to have is when shifting into park from drive or reverse the column shifter doesn't want to go into park, it has to be shuffled in. Anyone know how to fix this?

did the truck recently have major transmission service? check the linkages
