89 944 will crank, but will not turn over.jtzx750 06-17-2006, 03:09 AM Help, anyone out there! Well, my car problem is intermitent, when the car starts, there is no problem. I can drive the car for for a while and it will start, then if you leave it for a while it will not start. I know it is not my fuel pump, since it is working when I drive it (When it start), so I know that I'm getting fuel to the car. Checked all the sparkplug cables, battery, and fuses are all ok, but I did check the ignition coil with a Digital multi-meter while someone is starting it, and there is "no" voltage coming in. Some one suggested it could be the relay, but I can't seem to find it.........(Anyone knows where the relay is) Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks Jt grey11879 08-30-2006, 06:50 PM The relay you are refering to is the DME relay. It is located in the outside fuse block on dirvers side cowl. I don't remember wich number it is but there is a diagram on the insde of the cover. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
