Won't load your image (or your website), so if you could upload that pic to the AF server, that'd be awesome. MidNiteMysT 08-03-2002, 02:06 AM damn, i didnt even notice that. ill upload it to my geocities account then. and what do you mean? my website works fine. anyway, i tried to do a shadowing effect for the corrado and it wouldnt work out, very annoying. i wanna make a lighter end of the car behind the little shadow. look at the pic to see what im talkin about. first car is the one i wanted edited. http://www.geocities.com/mystdotcom/corradocartoonbig.jpg http://www.geocities.com/mystdotcom/pic.jpg beav2k2 08-03-2002, 03:38 PM can you post the exact color you want since you're talking specifically? ci5ic 08-03-2002, 04:06 PM Yeah, 00FF00 is REALLY bright green... Is that what you're after? ci5ic 08-03-2002, 04:52 PM Is this what you need? Let me know: http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/587132greencorrado.jpg http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/450498greencorradobanner.jpg MidNiteMysT 08-03-2002, 06:00 PM yea, i want like a bright nice green. thats a nice job with the green but the problem is that its green in the wrong places. i want the white to stay white but the black to be green. cuz the white is the shine, so i want it to look like a green paint job. how did u not color in the tires and stuff? did u select the tires and windows or w/e and just make it so it doesnt paint in that area? i would like to know how you did this, like the shadow effect. i tried moving the picture on top of another picture but theres a white outline that doesnt go away, i dont know how to make it transparent so i cant put the car ontop of another car without that sqaure white outline of the picture. i hope you can understand what im talking about. thanx :) maybe we can talk on aim MidNiteMysT 08-05-2002, 07:16 PM i learned how to use photoshop alot better now but i still cant seem the change the black paint job to a green one. its so much easier on real cars..... can anyone do it? Rob80 08-05-2002, 11:02 PM how do you do the shadows that is hot, I think we need a tutorial up in here. ci5ic 08-06-2002, 01:08 AM Shadows were easy. Copied a pic of the car (just the car, not the whole image), pasted to several layers (however many shadows you want). Aligned them all in a row. Used "edit/adjust/desaturate" on all layers except the first one. Then under "layer options" set the opacity to various levels. In the banner above, I think I set the opacity at 50%, 35%, and 25%, getting lighter and lighter. That's it. Rob80 08-06-2002, 04:59 PM now can you animate the shadows? to maike it look like the car is driving across the screen? MidNiteMysT 08-06-2002, 06:18 PM Originally posted by Rob80 now can you animate the shadows? to maike it look like the car is driving across the screen? I have a Flash Banner on my website that does that :) ci5ic 08-06-2002, 06:38 PM Yeah, flash whoops ass!!! I made a badass flash site, but for some reason the most recent version won't work! It really pissed me off, and I gave up trying to get it to work a few months ago. Never had a problem before... :( Anyways, I'll work on the pic again to see if I can adjust the green some more, but I don't think it'll look good... There has to be some contrast in the picture, but I'll try. Related Links Participate in thousands of discussions at AutomotiveForums.com! Registration is absolutely free. |
