Seems all the 1G MX6 tuners actually go to a smaller engine, the 2L FE3. With its shorter stroke, stronger bottom end, variable length intake runners and DOHC it has more potential than the 2.2L F2T does. Stock it won't give you much, if any, more power (148 HP on 9:1 comp FE3s, 160 HP on 10:1 FE3s), just a better power band. But turboed it can be quite stout. I've heard 400+ hp on the stock bottom end.

I normally dont tell people to go to my site but you should check out fastonemotorsports.com I have built a few fe3's with turbo, mine is 550 whp garrett 60-1 and completly built engine. stock they can handle light boost on the low comp, I have a couple of them sitting around right now.

i have a 1988 mazda mx6 gt turbo. its got an exaust leak and i dont know how to fix it. i dont want to spend alot of money on it. i have allready replaced the clutch, radiator, spark plug wires, part of a exaust system, new interior, and speakers. so its gettin kinda expensive. whts the fastest and easiest way to fix the exaust leak.

Start by finding where it is leaking, and then fix it... there isn't much else you can do
