I was just driving down the interstate today and had a chance to punch my Chrysler T&C 3.3L and the car pulled just fine in third gear upto 90miles per hour and then as soon as it shifted into the 4th gear the speed kind of seemed to stop at 100miles per hour. I held the pedal down for a few seconds but didnt see the speed increase. Does this mean that the speed is electronically limited to 100MPH or the 3.3L can only do a 100MPH?:p

Isn't the highway speed limit in the US is about 65-75 MPH?

Ha Ha LOL. Yeah where I drive the limit is 65mph but as I said I had an open road with no cops so i punched the gas. No i did not have cruise control activated.

You never know. Cops are sneaky. There their even if you don't see them. One time, when I went pass a stop sign, I got ticked $74. Too bad.

Being sneaky is part of a cops job and I agree you never know when they might pop up but I have avery good rader detecter system so I know whenever there is a cop around:grinyes: But to be honest I rarely and I mean rarely drive fast like this I mostly drive at 70mph I just felt like finding out how fast is the car thats all. Not like I drive around at 100mph all the time I do not want to kill myself:nono:

You are in a 3.3L mini-van....how fast do you think it should go?!?!

150MPH? Doubtful..mini-vans are massively underpowered...probably is limited to 100MPH as it wouldnt be able to safely go much faster!

thats correct,big brother has caught you.there is a form of speed control/rev limiter pre programmed into the ecm.besides why go that fast,these things are built for sex,not speed.enjoy the ride dont end it so fast:iceslolan
