93 trans in 95 4x4hondaboy16v 06-13-2006, 09:17 PM I took my truck to the shop to have the freeze plugs on the back of the motor changed, and while the guy had it apart he found that the clutch and throwout bearing were on there way out the door, so i had them replaced. Anyways, he got it all back together and found that the slave cylinder would no longer disengage the new clutch, so he ordered a new one. When the new one came though, it was the wrong size, so we cross referenced the numbers on the old slave cyl. and found that it referenced to a 93 s-10 4x4. So the correct slave cyl. was tracked down and put on the truck... but the problem is that now the truck is sometimes impossible to get into or out of gear. I have to pump the clutch about 10 times to get it to shift. Now, could there be an interference problem between the engine (95) and the transmission (93), or do I simply have an air pocket in the slave cylinder? Also, the clutch that was put in was for a 95, so could that be part of the problem? This sucks hardcore, cause I just got done spending about 500bux in parts and labor. dmbrisket 51 06-13-2006, 11:56 PM bleed it out vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
