When I have AC on and changing down to a lower gear from say 4th, my sols RPMs drop to 0 and will occasionally stall. Any idea's on how to fix or what could be wrong? Also, what is the normal idle RPM 1000 or 500? And how can I adjust it, most cars I have seen have a screw, but the sol, I don't see one. If anyone has a pic of the piece I have to adjust would be perfect for I know nothing of engines.

Thanks

the idle speed for your car is 650-750 RPMs. i would not suggest changing it just to fix the problem though, its a bad way to mask a serious problem. if it only happens when you have the AC on, then i would suggest having your compressor looked at. it might be on the verge of seizing. it might also be that your ECU doesnt know the AC is on, so it doesnt try and correct the idle on its own. this seems farfetched to me though. i suggest trying the tech forum or taking it to a mechanic to get a good answer.
