Anyone else catch this ABC news article claiming the Insight will not be produced for '07 ? The reason they gave was it being due to much lower sales figures than expected.

Are you surprised? How many '06 models did Honda sell? Couldn't be more than a dozen :p It's no more a practical vehicle than is the S2000.

There are too many hybrid vehicles out there to warrent another one that isn't even advertised anymore. I haven't seen a commercial for the insight for years now. Toyota is kicking everyone's a$$, and there's already the Civic and Accord hybrids.

The S2000, like other sports cars, aren't practical. But it is a sports car, and that's it's place. I certainly don't see that going out of production any time soon.

I believe there will be no '07 S2000 either.

Holy sh*t, you're right. They're introducing something called the XGA (at least that's the name as of now, but who knows). Here's the concept of it: http://carspyshots.net/zerothread?id=18868 Totally lame...

i hear the next honda car may be fully hybrid, and not use gas at all.

They already have the fuel cell vehicle. Are you referring to that? Or, did you mean all electric, like a go kart? The term "hybrid" implies that there are two sources.

Very strange. Every source I checked said, "No '07 S2000". We just got a new batch of '07's at the dealership I work at this week! This originally started as a Insight thread...but the S2000 is more exciting. Sorry for the jack.

New 5 seat hybrid Insight is on the way:licka:

Somewhere I noticed a title "The Prius killer" (big competitor of Toyota Prius Hybrid)
It is gonna be a real beauty...
Official representation is next spring (22 of April)
