I have a constant "click" in the front end of my explorer. I've replaced lower ball joints/outer tie rod ends/torsion bars and adjusters. I still haven't been able to define where the "click" is comming from. It seems to go away during rain but comes back when it is dry. Could it be bushings ?? All replies appreciated... Hi, Is this "constant click" while the vehicle is moveing? and is it a constant rotation click, Like wheel speed? Or is it over bumps? Let me know when you get a chance....Clay.

The click is not from the wheel motion. It appears to be a heavy metalic click that comes and goes with the weather. When it is dry out it is most noticable. When it rains or is damp there is no noise. I'm leaning toward the upper ball joints as I have replaced the lowers. The truck had 110k on the suspension so I think it's time to do the uppers. I know that the Explorers are prone to bad ball joints and boots that leak. Thanks
