hi this is a question to you wrx owners Im in the market for a new car fairly soon and the wrx is on my list. i was interested in the wrx ( non-sti) ive been comparing and researching and for 25k it seems like a steal awd turbo 230hp. What do you guys like/dislike about your wrx? I dont plan to mod it too much. I like the way the SPT exhaust sounds it always gets my attention when i hear one Would there be any pros / cons in getting a new BOV? Well i think thats all. ty in advance.

Likes:
AWD means great grip in wet and dry.
flat four has awesome unique sound

Dislike:
Factory tires aren't the greatest.

BOV = biggest waste of time - read down the threads and you'll see the general opinions.

The SPT is a good exhaust, it's actually made for Subaru by Bosal and it has a great sound to it.

I know what headers are, the problem is you've gone from talking about the exhaust to talking about headers so I'm not sure you know..... ;)

It's the equal length headers that supposedly take away the sound

I've heard a vid of an N/A Impreza with an equal length header and it sounded fine to me

equal length header = more HP, lose the boxer rumble
unqual length header = less HP, insane boxer rumble

I, myself, have a set of unequal length header from Vibrant (made here in Canada) and they sound amazing and produce great mid-range and top end power while magnifying the already sweet boxer rumble. I've also heard a set of equal length headers on a WRX and i personally dont like the sound at all - you can definately tell the difference in tone.
