The best thing that you can do is look in a Chevy manual. The dealer might just let you look if you ask. The worst that can happen is they might say No.

I may have what you need. I have a cd with all the wiring diagrams for a 99. I'd think they would be the same. Just email me at c_phill@bellsouth.net, so I can send the schematics to you.

10-4 Old haynes is a little weak on some things.:grinyes:
There is about 4 pages on VCM wiring I can PDF in a e mail to you.

You might also try the local library...I found some excellent wiring diagrams for my 97 GMC when it would die at low speed..found a set of relays in the glove box (one of them feeds power to the fuel pump), which was the culprit.. and these didn't even show up the any of my manuals.
