Hello, My 91 Ranger with 4.0 has a problem with the fuel gauge. A few years ago while trying to jump start it (12 boost accidently) I heard a pop below the dash in the area of the ashtray. Since then the cigarette lighter, and more importantly the fuel gauge have stopped working. My question is this: Is there an inline fuse somewhere under the dash leading to the gas gauge? This is the only gauge affected. All others work fine. If there is an inline fuse, where? Could this be anything else? Thanks in advance. Brad
