runs rough

I have a 2000 neon 4cyl and i took it to get inspected and it was re jected
because the computers would not communicate with each other and was told
that I needed to take it to the dealer to have the tsb 18-10-00 re done. And
now it runs rough, no lights on dash is their any corilation . and what can i
check for to fix.

First off-are your tail light working? Not to sound dumb-but I know that in the 98 Neon (what I have) the dash lights go out to let you know the tail lights are out. (or a lose connection, etc) Therefore they could be completely unrelated. I've not heard of a high incedence of the brain having problems-and I've not experienced that with my Neon. But hey-every car is different :)

the jack where they hook there com into could be on the same fuse/elec lines as the dash/tails (and yes on almost any vehicle if the dash goes out your tails are gone) if there is an issue in those lines/fuse and the com jack is wired within those particular lines that would not work either.
