non peeling?gw84 06-01-2006, 06:49 PM Anyone else have a non peeling dash pad? I armor all that thing like every other day, still looks good:smokin: jeffcoslacker 06-01-2006, 09:07 PM Armor-All is like crack cocaine...once you start, it snowballs. The vinyl will dry out faster each time you use it, and you need to stay with it. Mine's never been touched with any conditioner, sits in the sun all day, every day, and looks new. gw84 06-05-2006, 05:19 PM yeah, but you appear to have a second generation one, I have a first and have never seen another one without a peeled up dash. Anyway, what would you recommed besides armor all to keep my dash clean and in its original (non peeling) state? quteasabutton 06-05-2006, 07:33 PM mine is plastic and i couldn't care less how it looked. :) richtazz 06-09-2006, 12:22 PM Pledge furniture polish works great. It won't dry out the vinyl like armor all and other silicone based products, plus it smells lemony fresh, gw84 06-12-2006, 08:50 PM pledge?? reeealllly. Will it keep the part of the dash around the defrost vent from peeling up? Is that what you use? jeffcoslacker 06-12-2006, 09:20 PM yeah, but you appear to have a second generation one, I have a first and have never seen another one without a peeled up dash. Oh yeah, I forgot about those...I can't really reccomend a vinyl product, I don't really use 'em. Lexol works real good on leather, not sure about vinyl. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
