chevorlet decal

I know there is a sticky thread on this but I never found out what was the final answer on what is a good product to use to remove the chevy decal and the maybe also the side trim

The way i saw it done on a cobalt....they just jerked it off and used an adhesive remover. Looked pretty good actually.

Are you talking about those badges? I used some fishing line. Wear some gloves and gently slide some fishing line underneath the badge while working the string back and forth. I used a little WD-40 as lube to help. Then you can remove the residue. (pain in the @$$).

I parked mine in the sun on a 95+ day and mine pealed off with no problem and no glue left behind. good luck

There are decal removers at parts supply houses. Call around for an auto paint supply and ask for the 3M decal remover.

If you use WD-40 be sure to wash and wax as it strips your finish........
