01 tiburon turbo question

I was looking at the alpine developments beta 2 turbo kit. anyone have it? anyone can tell me if it's worth getting or if there is a better turbo for the rd2.

Well, there really aren't any other kits from major manufacturers available. However, a guy at a Tib site I go to (who has built his own kit and has a 500 whp 01 Tib) is building a kit for me and several other people. If you want, I'll see if he's willing to take on one more customer.

He's charging about $2,800 for the kit, which has everything except the electronics.

hmmm sounds like a good deal. 500hp? isn't that kinda insane for an auto tranny?
