Ramdm mtpl cylinder misfire, HELP!!!!!andrewhiler76 05-29-2006, 05:33 PM PLEASE HELP!!! I first noticed a ploblem when stopped, car would idle low and sometimes stall. Next, had timeing belt replaced and car now stutters while accelerating and 13-15 mpg. The radiator has been replaced due to overheating. Getting a code read of "randm multiple cylinder misfire" All I could come up with is a bad ignition control module for $750 anything else you can think of or has anyone had this problem before? rodeo4me 05-29-2006, 07:20 PM i would change sparks, choose denso, champion. see faq for specific type. rodeo02 05-29-2006, 09:04 PM What year rodeo? 2000+ 3.2's are sensative to spark plug brand. Who ever did your T-belt could have messed up the valve timing. If valve timing is not set properly you will get random misfires. I doubt you have a bad coil w/ random misfire code.
