I have a 1998 CVPI. When I go above 50 mph or on very hot days the car overheats. The water pump is less than a year old, the intake manifold was just replaced, has new thermostat and coolant. Does anyone have any other suggestions

Your air deflector under your rad support wouldn’t happen to be missing or broken?

Check the radiator and A/C condensor for debris between them blocking air flow.

Another thing to check is that there is no trapped air in the cooling system, which WILL cause intermittant overheating.

'98 huh? Is that when the new body style came out? Not to sure, but anyways, when the new body style came out "we" had alot of problems with the connectors on the cooling fans. They kept burning up and melting from inside the connector and loosing contact. Ford made a new connector to replace it.

Just in case, you might have not looked into it.......L8RS!!
