Fitting a turbo to a VTEC-E

OK, maybe this is a crazy question, I'm not sure ;)

I have a 97 Civic 1.5 VTEC-E, and have recently been getting interested in modding it, purely for more performance (maybe aesthetics later ;))

Would it be practical to fit say a Greddy turbo kit to this car, would any more work need to be done on the engine (other than fitting the turbo kit)? And would I need a new ECU, cos I'm not sure how the 12V VTEC-E mode would affect turbo boost etc. I'm only looking at a 5-6 psi boost level, so not too much really...would this give me a decent power increase (just fancy a bit more power ;)).

Any thoughts?

5-6psi is what the Greddy kit puts out without any modifications. You won't need anything that doesn't come in the kit. You will have to relocate the O2 sensor.

Greddy doesn't make a turbo kit for vtec-e you'll need to hyrbid one

Hybrid one? I take it you mean I'll have to customise it somehow? Could you elaborate any more on this? Cheers! :)
