97 Blazer runs great in cool weather, but Dies in Hot Weather!!jangard 05-26-2006, 02:10 PM :banghead: Hubby's been trying to figure this one out for a friend. He has a 97 Blazer that starts fine, runs great with no stalling when the weather is cool. But when the weather is hot, it will start and run for a block or so, then Die and not start again for a couple of hours. Then Die again as long as the weather is hot. When he tries to start it, it sounds like a fuel problem. The fuel pump and filter have been replaced. Now, the engine itself is not getting hot...just reacting to the weather. Any ideas???? DINO55 05-26-2006, 05:57 PM You have an BAD IGNITION SWITCH in your 97 Blazer.......
