:banghead: Hubby's been trying to figure this one out for a friend.

He has a 97 Blazer that starts fine, runs great with no stalling when the weather is cool. But when the weather is hot, it will start and run for a block or so, then Die and not start again for a couple of hours. Then Die again as long as the weather is hot.

When he tries to start it, it sounds like a fuel problem. The fuel pump and filter have been replaced.

Now, the engine itself is not getting hot...just reacting to the weather.

Any ideas????

You have an BAD IGNITION SWITCH in your 97 Blazer.......

Yip, ignition switch, it is a black electronic module in the steering cokum.

Info on replacement is in the FAQ at the top of the blazer section.
