im in search of a new car.i want a dodge aveneger but dont know shit about them.are they reliable cars.whats the most commom thing that goes wrong with them.and whats the best one to hook up.the 4cyl or 6 cyl version.
and i live in nj any one selling one in nj thats in good condition

They are reliable cars but that just depends on who cared for it before you. It is the same with most all cars if they are maintained well they last longer with fewer problems. The engine selection is mostly a personal preference. The 2.0L 4 cylinder is putting down around 140hp and the 2.5L V6 can be 155hp to 165hp depending on what year you get. The 4 cylinder would be better on gas and has a manual transmission option. My transmission went out on my 98 Avenger ES. It was a V6 automatic trans with 55K miles, that is the most common expensive repair for these cars. Look into transmission problems with these cars. Overall I like Avengers so much after I sold my old one I bought another one and Im fixing it up as a project car.
