Finally!!!!

ok after four months of waiting and one shipping container missed.....my JUN hood and grille are finally here. Let me say.........if i was a female hood, id let this hood tap me all night. QUALITY=amazing. Weight= my bathroom scale was dead nuts 20lbs....but i dont think thats right lol. It feels lighter when you pick it up. My parents are in Florida so no pics yet. They get back on sunday.

Its a raw fiberglass hood and grille......my car smells horribly like fiberglass now. Its beautifuly hand crafted. The vents wont grab people's attention either. They are nicely placed and sunk in and face backwards toward the windshield. And with it being a black car....you most likely will barely notice them unless your up on the car in a parking lot or something. Its better than i thought it would be. Im am very happy. :grinyes:

oh and finally got my rear quarter panel and rear bumper cover in....and ordered rear hubs and peak pro front hubs. On backorder so they said a few weeks......now all i need is rims. Thinking about getting the r32 gtr rims(something cheap yet stylish and wider than stock). After this shit comes in......its motor time, whenever turbo240.com releases there stuff. That 718 hp vid shows a dead sexy bottom mount manifold.

yea i understand. Hoods are personal taste. Those are the vents i like lol. Its all good though. Serioiusly it looks different in person. I mean yea its the same hood, but they dont look that noticeable....i guess because its sitting on my room floor lol.

lol it was expensive. little over a grand with shipping. But its quality. Iv seen cheaper fiberglass/carbon fiber hoods. Those are mass produced(apc, vis etc). THe JUN hood is made upon order....thus you have to wait. There are no scratches, chips, divots, rough spots, no nothing.......its f'ing perfect. Vent wholes are cut out very precise. Not all wavy and un-straight like someone did it with a dremel tool. It comes with hood-pins also if need be used. It is packed awesomely to ensure no damage. I had to cut through like 5 inches of bubble wrap lol. The vents come with the mesh already glued. Even the quality of mesh is different than iv seen before. Its not all cut leaving sharp edges to scratch and poke. Its like the mesh was made to fit the hood. Not like the mesh was cut off from a big sheet then stuck on the hood. Its a nice friggin hood lol. Should go on like stock...

oh and the grille cam in a box with 2 inch foam pads around it. All mounting hardware....2 bolts, 2 washers, 2 nuts lol had a seperate compartment. Thats why the shit also costs so much. They pack it very nice which also takes time and money.....

you will probably definitely want to use those hood pins supplied with a fiberglass hood. and good luck with it...sounds like a nice piece but i have heard of people having problems with fiberglass as in the corners bending and cracking. really no big deal, people usually just have them reinforced over time.

enjoy it...JUN makes awesome products and you will pay for them too. :D

yea i would highly recommend there stuff if you want quality stuff. But you will have to pay for it. You have to pay to play. But if you just want a hood to throw on, id definantly buy a cheaper brand.

either do i lol. I was just going to get a oem style carbon fiber one. But then i saw this one and was like wow its decent and not all flashy. So might as well get it. It has to help cooling a bit......the way the grille is made you'll see it will be like total air flow through the bay. Well you can see the grille on the above link. The grille is more or less just fiberglass cover to hide the bumper support and what not so the car doesnt look all janky like its missing a piece.
