{{{{{{{{{{92 chevy astro van runs very rough till warms up, was running great, at a stop light it started trying to die on me. The van misses and spits and sputters and pops in the fuel injector area. What i have done so far (changed plugs, wires, dist. cap,map sensor, o2 sensor, changed the tbi fuel injectors, fuel filter, fuel pump, throttle position sensor, and fuel relay switch, and pvc valve) has made the van run alot better once it warms up but still has jumpyness and hesitations. checked the codes it had 33,34,43,44 and hence i replaced sensors , now the computor reports no problems.
i could really use your help guys, i cannot think of anything but that i didnt replace the wires on the injectors, got any suggestions?????:screwy:]]]]]]]]]]]]]

that was my original post since then i checked the fuel pressure it was fine 60 psi i cant think of anything else it could be but my guages are flopping all over the place while its spitting and sputtering
PLEASE HELP I AM A AUTO IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHOA!!! Hold on there Chief!!!

You have a TBI van? 8th digit of the VIN is Z?

If you are getting 60psi of fuel pressure then that is your problem.

A VIN Z should only have 9-13 psi.

A VIN W should have 60+psi.

What is the 8th digit of your VIN?

you are correct it was 11 psi on my fuel pressure i dont know where i got the 60 from, there is pressure of 11 on the pressure. also i just cant think of anything else to check at all

How about the EGR valve? Have you checked that? Do you know how?

Also a dirty TBI unit could cause this stuff. Oh wait. How is the gasket between your TBI and intake manifold? Those things will fail causing poor driveability as well.....

Did you install an aftermarket PCV valve? If so, dig your old one out of the trash, clean it out, and reinstall it. I have a long, tedious story about an "episode" I had with an aftermarket PCV and how it caused me a few days worth of needless work, but I'll spare you.

I have a similar story to Bluebowtie's, but at the other end of the PCV hose at the throttle body. The PCV port in the throttle body was carboned almost closed. CD Smalley's thought about a dirty TBI unit is a good one.
