I got a 96 thats laging behind. it has the same symptoms as the "99" in a recent thread. I tried the cleaning of the MAF sensor and had no luck. I also tried switching the MAF and IAT sensor from the same model only 2 months older than mine and still no change. I cant pass any vehicles. but idling and cruising it works fine. it dont miss at all. I have replaced the MAP sensor, Fuel pressure regulator, plugs, wires, cap and rotor, and both front O2 sensors (of 4 total). the only thing I havent done is taken it to the dealership to reset the engine timing. anyone got any ideas??

Check the timing first, also have the dealer do a back pressure test. You may have a problem with the cat's pluging up.
