Bruce Weiner's F1 is for sale (http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49432) for a pretty high price Greg A F1 monster 05-22-2006, 12:30 PM I guess he got a quote for some servicing. :) NewyorkKopter 05-22-2006, 05:36 PM Hey guys you might wanna check this out http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Other-Makes-MCLAREN-F1-MCLAREN-F1-F-1-PRISTINE-GA-CAR-ALL-RECORDS_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ6472QQitemZ4642 981736QQrdZ1 I never thought the day would come when I'd see a F1 on ebay. The color looks pretty nice. Peloton25 05-22-2006, 06:07 PM Essentially the same discussion: http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=568866 Several F1s have appeared on Ebay. Some were legitimately for sale like this one, others bogus, but most of the time even the legit ones are just up there for the cheap advertising. >8^) ER jvcardesign 05-23-2006, 07:41 PM well , someone just bought it....great...too many miles i think, but it's ok....good choice instead of the enzo next to it. :) congrats to the buyer!! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=4642981736&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3APIC mini magic 05-23-2006, 07:49 PM I'm not sure about this one... Peloton25 05-23-2006, 08:10 PM I merged the three threads together - no sense in having separate discussions on the same car being for sale/sold. The Ebay buyer could just be an agent for someone else. :dunno: >8^) ER mini magic 05-23-2006, 08:36 PM True. But then again, why buy the car on ebay? The car has been for sale for a while but why would someone wait until it goes on ebay to buy it? Also, why get an "agent" to buy it off ebay? Why pay them to click a few buttons when you can do it yourself? Just my 0.02 payso 05-23-2006, 08:40 PM what are the charges for selling such a piece? is it fixed charge for cars? or depending on the final price? zx4000 05-23-2006, 08:50 PM why get an "agent" to buy it off ebay? Why pay them to click a few buttons when you can do it yourself? The problem is that certain buyers simply dont know when or where the car is sold and this forum unlikely MCF1 enthusiasts..:smooch: Peloton25 05-23-2006, 09:02 PM It's my understanding this car has only been for sale since last week. Been wrong before, could be wrong again. :dunno: >8^) ER mini magic 05-23-2006, 09:59 PM I've heard otherwise, but i could be wrong as well drewwtms 05-24-2006, 12:15 PM "PWR RACK&PINION STEERING,POWER-ASSIST DISC BRAKES,DUAL FRONT AIRBAGS (SRS)," Huh? :screwy: Peloton25 05-24-2006, 12:29 PM "PWR RACK&PINION STEERING,POWER-ASSIST DISC BRAKES,DUAL FRONT AIRBAGS (SRS)," Huh? :screwy: Yeah - I'm hoping that those were standard bits that go into ever listing. :screwy: They could have at least line-itemed the upgrades that Kennedy had installed. There's some impressive techno-gadgets littering that car. >8^) ER jvcardesign 05-24-2006, 02:44 PM I merged the three threads together - no sense in having separate discussions on the same car being for sale/sold. The Ebay buyer could just be an agent for someone else. :dunno: >8^) ER Well yeah, lot better all the threads together...i was about asking you about it, ´cause it was blocked before. Yeah maybe an agent for the buyer. could be possible. jvcardesign 05-24-2006, 02:48 PM what are the charges for selling such a piece? is it fixed charge for cars? or depending on the final price? Yeah, the final charge from ebay depends on the car final price. if i sold someday one of my 1/43 west #8 on ebay, i would have to pay around 40 Euros commissions. if i sold my model for around 1000 Euros. i have tried as you might have seen, but no client yet. I accept offers by the way ;) Immagine now a commision 4 a million dollar car. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
