Silly QuestionGregA 05-21-2006, 11:46 PM Hi folks, I have a silly question. A friend of mine just got a new s2000. Sweet looking car. Anyway, it has a rubber cover in the rear bumper that, when removed, gives access to what looks like a bolt of some kind. Any idea what this is for? (I don't have access to the owner's manual) Take Care, clawhammer 05-24-2006, 10:02 AM No idea. Maybe post a picture. clawhammer 05-24-2006, 10:02 AM On second though, that might be the tow hook. While looking around in the trunk, I notice what looked like a "Threaded Eye" bolt next to the tire iron. Didn't know what that was about either. So, you may be right. Still not sure though. I will talk with them this weekend and see if its figured out. Take Care, SiGNAL748 05-24-2006, 11:26 PM Clawhammer is right, it's for the towhook. Towhook as in if the s2000 needs to be towed, not if the s2000 was towing something itself. The threaded eye thing you saw goes inside after you remove the little plastic cover on the bumper. GregA 05-30-2006, 09:12 PM Yep - CONFIRMED - It is indeed the tow hook. Thanks guys! Take Care, vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
