91 F250 wiring harness?Rottweiler482 05-21-2006, 09:35 PM Hello, I have a 91 F250 and I'm replacing the radio in it but the connector is cut off and the wires were just taped together. I was wondering if anyone would have any idea on what wires are what for the radio. I have figured out the speaker's and somewhat of the power and ground but there are 2 wires left that I can't seem to figure out. The radio only seems to work when I put on my lights or when the ingition is on but don't work when they are both on?? Any one have any help full hints on the wiring diagram for it?? Thanks Jerry ModMech 05-21-2006, 10:54 PM Jerry, You radio has THREE powered wires: 1) Backlight (connected to the instrument illumination lighting circuit) 2) Keyed power (on only when the key is in the "ON" or "Accy" positions) 3) Battery power (memory, always hot). While I do not have a diagram for you vehicle or radio, you seem to be well on your way to figurig this out. Remember that each speaker has TWO wires, there is one for a power antenna (usually blue), ground (black) and I *think* that is about it. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
