Wet floorboard SOLVED!

I noticed a lot of people complain about wet floors in 92-95 grand ams and I also have been battling a wet drivers side floorboard when it rains for the past 3 years. Its been raining here for over a week straight and i couldnt take it anymore so i tore out some carpet. It turns out that theres a sort of caulking seal where the floorboard meets the firewall and it had the tiniest crack in it directly behind the clutch. It was allowing a steady flow of water through so I let it dry then resealed it and its been fine in the rain for 3 days. Problem solved.

theirs a couple places the 92-95 leak, the upper part of the firewall and around the perimiter(behind strut towers).
Shit should hav been welded all the way around, but I guess Glue is cheaper.

99+ leak around that area too, because of a the wrong placement of a foam seal/gasket. :banghead:
My passanger side was so wet once it fried the ABS unit under the seat. what a PITA :grinyes:

CARS! They all suck in one way or another
