Hi i have 2001 x5 the heater controls dont do anything the steering wheel controls dont work for the heater either , i cnat find any electrical diagrams i suspect that there is a electrical short some where or fusible link , anyone ever have this problem some help would be appreciated thanks ..john

Have you tryed checking the fuses? I believe they are inside the glove box up at the top, your see 2 white tabs, push them towards eachother.

thanks It was the fuse i didn,t know where the second fuse box was i just bought this truck :grinyes: i have no maunual and when i looked at alldata ,bmw doesn,t give any wiring diagrams out so makes it hard to fix electrical problem..but thanks you saved me alot of time would never of seen that cover if you didn,t tell me about it ...
