There are a few questions that will help determine the cause:

1) Did whomever performed the "flush" use the CORRECT MerconV ATF? If not, they get to fix it.

2) Is the trans full? - -Well into the "xxxxx" area on the dipstick at idle, in "P", BP set, when hot?

3) When was the transmission last serviced? While the time on the ATF is not too bad at 4 years, it is on the "edge". The mileage however, at well over 100,000 miles may indicate that if the trans had not been serviced before, that your transmission has been damaged by taking out the very old/high mileage ATF and replacing it with new.

4) Also, it is relatively common for the o-ring on the OLD filter to get stuck in the transmission case, and if it is not removed, or is removed with a pick and the bore is scratched, the pump can suck air. Basically, take it back to whomever performed the service, tell them something is wrong, and have them remove the pan and VERIFY the filter is properly and completely installed and that there is ONE o-ring on the pick-up tube (part of the filter).

If, the correct ATF was used, it is full and the filter/pickup is properly installed... there is one thing that you can try and that is to disconnect the battery completely for 15-20 minutes. DO NOT use any form of "memory saver" to keep the radio presets or clock accurate.

This *may* solve the problem.
