Wondering why your MPG isn't as advertised? (links)Boeing Nut 05-14-2006, 04:11 PM Greetings all! I came across these two articles while surfing today. They talk about both MPG and durability issues. Good reads. http://www.usatoday.com/money/autos/2004-02-03-hybridmileage_x.htm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prius Enjoy! Boeing Nut jstack6 11-11-2006, 07:15 PM I get more that the weak EPA MPG. I have had as much as 99.9 on 5-10 mile trips with a few level and down hill areas. Most of the time I get 50-60 mpg. You just have to drive smarter. A few Prius owners used the glide and coast methof to get over 70 mpg on a 100 mile drive. It's all in the drivers hands. :2cents: vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
