When I biught the truck last year it had a pretty crappy radio in it. I finally got around to putting a new on in. When I took the old one out The previous owner cut and spliced new wire to the radio so I had to do the same again. So Here is my question after getting it all back together and wire hooked up and working there are two wire left on the truck side a red wire with a green stripe and a green wire witha red stripe what are these used for.. Thanks again

They connect to the dash lights. One is just on/off and the other goes through the dimmer. Aftermarket radios dont use them but the factory one does.
