I want to purchase a throttle body spacer for my truck and i realized that there is a thing called the Helix Power Tower that i found in a performance products catalog and it states it raises the throttle body around 1''. I was wondering if there were any difference between the two, besides the price.

Please help!

I have and have only used the Poweraid throttle body spacer, don't know anything about the helix power tower, they should do the exact same thing.

I run a garage customs shop and from personall expierience the transdapt/ tornado bore spacer works the best and for a very noticable difference use a cold air intake.......... but remeber if it breathes it in it has to come back out so if you don't have dual exhuast or at least over sized single you won't notice the difference very much....... i have a 90 k1500 5.0l with 315hp and got about 12- 14hp just from adding the breather and spacer...... because i already have 3inch dual exhuast.......
